The color of the pattern is a little darker than the original picture. The shams and quilt are fairly thick. The sham opens on the end to insert the pillow not like most shams where you wrestle to get the pillow in. I would say that this is truly a good value. Also I have 2 dogs and this does not show the dog hair.
This comforter is exactly as pictured the size is perfect. The king size shammes tuck in quite nicely over the pillows. The design is beautiful not a flaw in the sewing. surprisingly soft. Held up well after the first wash.
The quilt is soft to touch. It is a light cover, but made in way that it is warm. The shams are nicely made and fold pillow in with no gaps. It isnt so bulky that it needs a wash load all by itself, but it is enough to be a nice cover at night.
I like this quilt and sham set. Our bed is a California King and the KingCalifornia King size does cover top to bottom but is a little short on the sides. Our bed has drawers under the bed, so the quilt stopping above the drawers works nicely so it isnt caught. The blue color is dark which is peaceful in the bedroom. As this is also my office these days having this in the background looks very nice.
We absolutely love this quilt and sham set. It is fun, modern, and super comfy. We have a burgundy color. It is easy to care for, wears well, creates a neat, modern, comfortable quiet space with minimal effort. It is not fussy yet looks great in seconds in the morning. We are really happy with this set.
